CURT T-Connectors Reviews

Installation was quick....except for that one wire...

Reviewed By Timothy V (South Sioux City, NE) Reviewed for a 2011 Dodge Avenger —8/7/2013 1:11 PM

The T-connectors are straight-forward and easy to install. Our only issue was running the wire from the battery to the trunk. It was simply a matter of having some extra zip ties and a little extra patience to identify a good rout to run the wire and tie it up. It may say a 40 minute install but plan on 1.5 hours to do it right.

Convenient Installation. Works Well. Recommended.

Reviewed By Wilbur T (GREAT FALLS, MT) Reviewed for a 1978 Ford F-250 —11/14/2016 9:50 AM

My truck already has a 4-way flat, so this made the installation easier and cleaner. Splicing into wires is a necessary evil at times and this avoids that unpleasantness. The bracket needed a small bend to allow the door to open all the way so the plug-in will fit. This is the one with the LED lights that indicate which pins are working, but I wish I had purchased a separate tester instead. One LED light always stays on. Battery drain isn't a concern, but unnecessarily attracting attention is.
