Product is very easy to install. You simply remove the rear lamp lenses and open the connection between the wiring harness and the lamps. Put in the T connector and reassemble. Peel the back off of the module and attach it to a clean surface inside the fender well. However, this is the point at which the directions fail to explain the rest of the story. You must then run a wire to the battery terminal of your vehicle. This is easily accomplished along the frame rail using enclosed wire ties and wiring. There is a red fuse block enclosed to be used in line (I placed mine at the battery). Place the fuse in the block and cut the wire in two. Using the enclosed terminals attach one end to the fuse block at the battery and the other end to the wiring that was run from the back to the front of the vehicle. Wire tie the components in place and you are ready to go. Can be operational in 30 minutes or less. The hardest part was just choosing the best routing for the wiring and attaching it with the wire ties. I've already towed my trailer for several hundred miles and the T connector has performed flawlessly. Similar product from the dealership was quoted at twice the price.
