Power Stop Truck & Tow Brake Kit Reviews

Finally some stopping power

Reviewed By Kevin G (MONTGOMERY, NY) Reviewed for a 2011 Dodge Ram —10/30/2014 12:33 PM

If your looking for that extra stopping power and for a great price autoanything and and power stop truck and tow brake kit is the way to go. My Ram 1500 is heavy and it likes to go fast... just stopping always seemed iffy the stock pads and rotors never seemed to have that "bite" that I was looking for and would fade after awhile from towing or alot of stop and go..These fixed the problem and now they got that "bite" I was looking for increased breaking performance and stopping distance greatly

No complaints here.

Simple install for my ram 1500 sport. Came with clips and boots but no grease like the box says so buy some just in case. Also the rotors for the back were labeled front driver and passenger as we're the front rotors. Easy to figure out the placement. Go to the powerstop site and match the specifications with those etched into the rotor. The kit made a noticeable difference to me.

Surprised with the wear

Reviewed By Kevin V (LAKE IN THE HILLS, IL) Reviewed for a 2011 Dodge Ram —10/30/2014 10:24 AM

I have these on all four corners of my 2011 Dodge Ram pickup 4x4 with ceramic pads. When I changed the pads I was surprised to visually see the wear on the rotors and I had to replace one due to pad damage. The absolute worst part of replacing rotors on a Dodge Ram is the rotors need to be nearly surgically removed and do not come off with any level of easy. Be prepared.... looks like a metal on metal issue.
