The quality and the customized shape were just what was needed for easy installation. The hitch instructions and the installation kit including the spacers and fishwires were complete and easy to understand. The only problem that I had was the bolt heads were too wide to insert into the elongated installation hole in the frame beam. I had to file down each side of the bolt heads to slide into the hole followed by the spacer and then, with the assistance of the fish wire I pulled the bolt back through the spacer where it seated nicely.

Great 5th Wheel Hitch

Reviewed By FORD C (Okeechobee, FL) Reviewed for a 2017 Dodge Ram —12/20/2017 3:52 AM

The unit arrived on a pallet with no damage and on time. The parts and universal mounts were complete and included in the price from Auto Anything. However, my 2017 Ram 2500 has a very difficult frame set up and to eliminate drilling the frame and making the install easier, I contacted Curt about a set of "CUSTOM" plate mounts that match right up to the factory threaded mount holes.Item CURT 16427 Custom 5th Wheel Brackets through Amazon for about $115.00 Great Hitch & Good buy.

Better than expected

Reviewed By Chris I (TERRELL, TX) Reviewed for a 1992 Dodge D-Series —11/28/2017 5:33 AM

from reading past reviews I was concerned about the shipping but the package was in perfect condition with no damage. The hitch itself is easy to install but the rails are time consuming. Haven't pulled my coach yet but the hitch seems solid and simple to use.
