Easy mounting hitch

Reviewed By TIM W (Eagle point, OR) Reviewed for a 2005 Ford Explorer —1/2/2018 8:04 AM

It was mounted and ready to tow in 45 minutes, a trailer hitch dealer wanted $250 to mount the hitch on my truck and the light harness, i ordered everything and did it myself, it was so easy to do just follow the instructions the light harness just plugs into the disconnecter and back into the light harness and after a few zip tie's done...easy

Curt Q25 (Ford Puck) Additional tools needed for installation

Reviewed By Ronald M (Camas, WA) Reviewed for a 2016 Ford F-250 —11/1/2017 12:49 PM

Excellent hitch and not overly challenging to install after locating all of the required tools. One item that needs to be clarified in the listing details, is that a 100 ft/# torque wrench is required to assemble the head to the legs. Adjusting the pucks was also a little tricky as the mounting bolts are course thread instead of fine thread. Another set of cotter pins would also be nice as the ones provided were already spread out and it was frustrating to get them straightened for reuse.
