1991 Bronco

Reviewed By Daryl K (Fayetteville, AR) Reviewed for a 1991 Ford Bronco —3/13/2012 5:47 AM

I like the over all qualitay of the hitch. The instulation was a little more work than I anticiapted. When you install this hitch on a 1991 Bronco be prepared to take 2-3 hours, due to the fact that you have to drop the front of the gas tank to get to the nuts on the frame. I pulled the front bolts and then just loosened the back ones, and then with a jack dropped the tank until I could get in with a wrench. Also the hitch arms were not square with the frame, so I had to force them to line up with the frame and the holes on the frame. If the arms on the frame had been square with the frame it would have gone much faster.

Great for the price!

Reviewed By Kenneth F (HENDERSON, KY) Reviewed for a 2011 Ford Ranger —5/3/2015 5:15 PM

With the 20% off spring special discount this was a no brainer! Matches the tow specs of my tow vehicle perfectly. Couple of things to note....FedEx will beat the crap out of the box, the Curt packaging isn't up to the task. But it is noted that it will be shipped in the factory packaging so that's on Curt. Secondly, download the installation instructions. They are newer than the packaged ones which will lead you to believe a part is missing when it isn't. A cheap move by Curt.
