Real Deal

Reviewed By Ronald R (Orem, UT) Reviewed for a 2004 Ford Crown Victoria —7/13/2011 11:59 AM

As advertised, this hitch fit right out of the box. Couldn't have done it without the included fish-wire to get the bolt/spacers in place - handy little tool. Had to modify one bolt head to get it in place though. Forth-five minute installation time - NOT quite! An hour and a half would be closer to reality - unless you have three hands. Instructions were basic, but easy to follow.

Excellent Hitch!!

Reviewed By Ryan Z (CYPRESS, CA) Reviewed for a 2000 Ford Crown Victoria —6/18/2013 11:30 PM

My '05 4.6L didn't come with the factory tow package and I'm going to be towing a sandrail so I needed a hitch. I wanted one that had almost zero exposed crossbar, and this hitch is as close as you'll get and was also the best price. It was a little tricky to get the bolts into place and had to drop the spare tire, about 1 and 1/2 hr. install time. It was a little beat up from shipping, but it's going to get beat up anyways. Once again satisfied with Autoanything!

Curt Q25 (Ford Puck) Additional tools needed for installation

Reviewed By Ronald M (Camas, WA) Reviewed for a 2016 Ford F-250 —11/1/2017 12:49 PM

Excellent hitch and not overly challenging to install after locating all of the required tools. One item that needs to be clarified in the listing details, is that a 100 ft/# torque wrench is required to assemble the head to the legs. Adjusting the pucks was also a little tricky as the mounting bolts are course thread instead of fine thread. Another set of cotter pins would also be nice as the ones provided were already spread out and it was frustrating to get them straightened for reuse.
