Draw Tite Installation

Reviewed By Chris N (Bueche, LA) Reviewed for a 2007 Ford Edge —4/21/2010 3:27 PM

It was harder to remove the plastic rivets underneath the Jeep than it was to do the complete install for the harness. I didn't have any spares, so I didn't want to cut the rivets. Product is working as advertised. Very happy with the part and the prompt shipping.

Easy installation

I was pleased with the ease of installation. Everything worked right the first time, and sure beats paying the $90 for the Ford part.

Convenient Installation. Works Well. Recommended.

My truck already has a 4-way flat, so this made the installation easier and cleaner. Splicing into wires is a necessary evil at times and this avoids that unpleasantness. The bracket needed a small bend to allow the door to open all the way so the plug-in will fit. This is the one with the LED lights that indicate which pins are working, but I wish I had purchased a separate tester instead. One LED light always stays on. Battery drain isn't a concern, but unnecessarily attracting attention is.
