Good Product, not right description

Reviewed By Chad L (Saint Louis Park, MN) Reviewed for a 2014 Ford Escape —11/18/2014 2:00 PM

Product ordered was Reese but was sent Draw Tite. Both are the same part number. Also this kit was missing 2 washers that required a trip to the store. The hitch looks great and I would recomend to anyone. great product.

Great Hitch - Simple But Time Consuming Install

Reviewed By Matthew H (Alexandria, VA) Reviewed for a 2013 Ford Escape —11/11/2014 7:23 AM

The most tedious part is widening the holes in the frame to get the bolts in, and if you want this hitch you better have a die grinder and compressor because I could not imagine trying to file the hole or using a drill. After that step, the hitch goes on in less than 1/2 an hour. Looks great. Plan on another hour for wiring, and run your power lead to the rear fuseblock to save time.

2013 ford escape

Reviewed By Kyle F (FLORENCE, AL) Reviewed for a 2013 Ford Escape —8/6/2014 4:44 AM

Great hitch for the 2013 escape although very frustrating to install. Will definiately need 2 people to help install. Didn't use some washers where the instructions said because it was impossible to get them in the spot where it said they went. Overall great hitch. Well built. Also does not interfere with the "kick to open" sensors. You just have to kick to the right side of the hitch to make it work. I like this hitch because its all hidden except for the actual hitch!
