The instructions were senseless, but luckily they are not really needed in order to install this wiring kit. I used it on a 2008 Ford Escape and it works fine.

I'm mechanically inclined and enjoy automotive projects but this kit makes adding a four way connector simple for even the a first time DYI-er. Fit my vehicle perfectly and with the help of previous reviews I found an even better way to attach the power supply connection. Also don't be shy about taking Autoanything up on their price match guarantee. I found the model I needed for less on Amazon and not only did Autoanything beat the Amazon price they beat it by 5-10% and did it willingly!

My truck already has a 4-way flat, so this made the installation easier and cleaner. Splicing into wires is a necessary evil at times and this avoids that unpleasantness. The bracket needed a small bend to allow the door to open all the way so the plug-in will fit. This is the one with the LED lights that indicate which pins are working, but I wish I had purchased a separate tester instead. One LED light always stays on. Battery drain isn't a concern, but unnecessarily attracting attention is.
