Front brakes 2011 explorer

Reviewed By Robert W (AMBLER, PA) Reviewed for a 2011 Ford Explorer —5/28/2017 6:23 PM

replaced oem front brakes on a 2011 explorer that had 75k miles. These went on easy and gold nice. The only negative is this set did NOt come with new springs and clips, I was expecting new hardware since the other brake sets I purchased had them. A sore brush cleaned the d hardware but I like to replace it when putting a new set on.

Good brake pads for the money

Reviewed By Stephen L (LORTON, VA) Reviewed for a 2011 Ford Explorer —12/17/2014 5:15 AM

I only have about 1,000 miles since I initially installed the brake pads. So far they have been working well. The installation was okay. Pads are pretty easy to install, however, the brake pads themselves should indicate which pad is for the inside and which pad is for the outside. I didn't notice the grooves and had to do the brake pads twice when I rushed through the first install. I inadvertently had them switched which caused an issue. Otherwise the pads are responsive and work great.

Power Stop front calipers 2003 Sport Trac

Decreased stopping distance with less pressure on brake pedal. Bleeder bolt caps don't completely cover bolts which will allow moisture and dirt to corrode bolts. Use Teflon paste on bleeder bolt threads so they don't seize.
