I have used this several times since purchasing and have not found anything to complain about. I am 6' 5" tall and break the scales at over 300 pounds. I can say that, even extended for use with tailgate open, the Hitchmate step is very very sturdy. The "oversized" step makes you feel confident and balanced not like teetering on a peg. I leave it in the receiver for the convenience of it being there when needed and use it as a hitch cover at the same time. I would recommend it.

I have the Curt Class 4 hitch for my 2015 Ford F-150. The hitch is very well made and fits perfectly. Installation is fairly easy. You will need a second person to help you lift it and get the bolts pulled through. I highly recommend you watch the Youtube installation video before doing the install. It will save you time because the written instructions are a little hard to follow when it comes to using the fish wires to pull the bolts through. Great quality product.
