Curt Q25 (Ford Puck) Additional tools needed for installation

Reviewed By Ronald M (Camas, WA) Reviewed for a 2016 Ford F-250 —11/1/2017 12:49 PM

Excellent hitch and not overly challenging to install after locating all of the required tools. One item that needs to be clarified in the listing details, is that a 100 ft/# torque wrench is required to assemble the head to the legs. Adjusting the pucks was also a little tricky as the mounting bolts are course thread instead of fine thread. Another set of cotter pins would also be nice as the ones provided were already spread out and it was frustrating to get them straightened for reuse.

Very easy to install, took 10 minutes!

Reviewed By david l (fort collins, CO) Reviewed for a 2000 Ford F-250 —9/29/2017 8:12 AM

My wife helped me, by holding one end of the hitch for about 1 minute. The whole inbstallation took about 10 minutes, with perfect fit. It looks very good, hiding under the bumper, and was welded so that I did not have to drill, assemble, or fool with anything. 6 bolts later and it was done.
