Easy Installation

Reviewed By Terry S (DALTON, GA) Reviewed for a 2014 Ford F-250 —6/6/2017 6:31 AM

Installation was very simple and end result was as good or better than I expected. The self tapping screws were a little too short for me to feel sure that it would remain secure so I used a slightly longer screw and it seems to be great. I have used the new plug and it works perfect and it is so much better not to have the wire hanging over the tailgate and worrying about it dragging on the road.

Convenient Installation. Works Well. Recommended.

Reviewed By Wilbur T (GREAT FALLS, MT) Reviewed for a 1978 Ford F-250 —11/14/2016 9:50 AM

My truck already has a 4-way flat, so this made the installation easier and cleaner. Splicing into wires is a necessary evil at times and this avoids that unpleasantness. The bracket needed a small bend to allow the door to open all the way so the plug-in will fit. This is the one with the LED lights that indicate which pins are working, but I wish I had purchased a separate tester instead. One LED light always stays on. Battery drain isn't a concern, but unnecessarily attracting attention is.

came quick, easy to install, seems to be good quality. could have been a 5 star if they supplied a bracket to fasten the socket onto the truck. otherwise it was a 10 min job to install.
