Different style

I wish I had received the one in the picture , but I was able to use the one that was sent . I needed the 90 degree angle on the plug to fit better in the truck box .

well made, some oversites

Reviewed By William M (STATEN ISLAND, NY) Reviewed for a 2015 Honda CR-V —8/18/2017 10:52 PM

This is a well made product with some simple to fix minor flaws. For one, the instruction do not make it clear that the connections in the car are under the upper trim panel. I found a better diagram on a Honda forum. More relevant is the inline fuse. The arrangement places the fuse behind all the plastic panels, which would require removing them to change a fuse. I replaced Curt's wire extension with one about 30cm longer, which brought the fuse into the spare tire well.

More installation detail needed

Reviewed By Jerry B (FORT COLLINS, CO) Reviewed for a 2014 GMC Sierra —6/9/2017 11:30 PM

More detail is needed to disassemble the factory wiring harness at the plug. Most people have no previous experience with this plug. Additionally, lowering the spare tire is necessary and not mentioned in the instructions. While obvious to me, would be nice to at least mention the requirement. Overall, I am very pleased with the quality.
