CURT Trailer Hitches Reviews

Nice hitch

Reviewed By Robert J (Chino, CA) Reviewed for a 2014 Ford Mustang —2/5/2017 9:59 AM

The installation is a little more difficult than it appears in the instructions. It is a 2 person job once you're ready to lift the hitch in place. Aligning the holes with the hitch was the most challenging of the entire process. Once alignment is complete and the bolts pulled thru the hitch 1 person can finish the installation. I installed this hitch on a Ford Mustang 2014.

Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Reviews

Well Designed! Buy Drawtite for a little more money, they fit!

Reviewed By AVI B (Owings Mills, MD) Reviewed for a 2011 Ford Mustang —8/28/2013 2:20 AM

I ordered the Drawtite model for my car after wasting my time with the Curt product for the same car, this actually fits and Curt sells a part as an exact fit which is not true. If you value your time buy this product. I am very happy with this, Autoanything shipped it quickly and got it to me ok, my only complaint about Autoanyhing is that they insisted the 20% restocking fee for the CURT product that was incorrectly engineered with holes half inch off from where they should be!

Curt Q25 (Ford Puck) Additional tools needed for installation

Reviewed By Ronald M (Camas, WA) Reviewed for a 2016 Ford F-250 —11/1/2017 12:49 PM

Excellent hitch and not overly challenging to install after locating all of the required tools. One item that needs to be clarified in the listing details, is that a 100 ft/# torque wrench is required to assemble the head to the legs. Adjusting the pucks was also a little tricky as the mounting bolts are course thread instead of fine thread. Another set of cotter pins would also be nice as the ones provided were already spread out and it was frustrating to get them straightened for reuse.
