Turning my car into a pickup truck

Reviewed By Alden S (LAWRENCEBURG, IN) Reviewed for a 2002 Ford Taurus —7/30/2016 1:13 PM

I shopped the internet for a hitch for our 2002 Ford Taurus and discovered AutoAnything.com. They had them for a better price than I could find elswhere, plus they offered free shipping. The hitch and wiring harness arrived when the chat agent said it would, three business days. The instructions said the hitch could be attached in 30 minutes by a professional, 60 by an amateur. I'm sure this would be true of a newer car, but our older one was rusty, and it took the better part of 2 days.

Great hitch no problems

First time I ever installed one of these. Instructions were fine , only thing I did extra was to trim the tail of the bolt that goes up in the frame. Other wise went smooth. This was a Taurus wagon

Curt Q25 (Ford Puck) Additional tools needed for installation

Reviewed By Ronald M (Camas, WA) Reviewed for a 2016 Ford F-250 —11/1/2017 12:49 PM

Excellent hitch and not overly challenging to install after locating all of the required tools. One item that needs to be clarified in the listing details, is that a 100 ft/# torque wrench is required to assemble the head to the legs. Adjusting the pucks was also a little tricky as the mounting bolts are course thread instead of fine thread. Another set of cotter pins would also be nice as the ones provided were already spread out and it was frustrating to get them straightened for reuse.
