"I thought the round tube hitch was the best looking and it installs easily to a Honda Odyssey. Jack stands help support the weight while you tighten the bolts. I thought the fifth bolt would be hard as it has to be fed using a wire, but that took only about 30 seconds." —Eric M from Greenville, NC bought a CURT Receiver Hitches for a 2008 Honda Odyssey.
"The hitch receiver was ordered for our 2008 Honda Odyssey to use with a Yakima bike rack. The box the hitch receiver arrived in had a hole, most likely from the hitch recever sliding around in the box during transit. This could potentially be a problem in some cases. Had there been much more abuse to the cardboard, the hitch receiver may have complete come out of the box during shipping. However in this case that did not happen. All the installation hardware (bolts, nuts, fishwire, etc.) was with the hitch receiver so there were no missing parts to deal with. The installation instructions were clear and easy to follow. The holes on the hitch receiver perfectly matched the holes in the frame. The paint job on the hitch recevier seemed to be a better, more durable quality than the paint on a hitch recevier from another brand that I installed on my truck. It was nice the Honda Odyssey has threadded holes builtin to the frame for attaching a hitch receiver. I performed the installation in the driveway using a pair of ramps to give some extra working room under the van. The installation was easy and was done in about 30 minutes or less. Before installation I was concerned that pulling the bolt down through the van's frame with the fishwire might be difficult. I was pleased to discvoer it was was actually pretty easy and no problem at all. When installed, the entire width of the hitch recevier frame is visible under the rear bumper of the van. It would be nice if there was a hitch recevier design that hid more of the hitch receiver frame up behind the bumper. However due to the depth the rear cargo area extends below the van, I'm not sure it would be technically possible for the hitch receiver frame to be positioned any higher up under the van than it already is. At least with the Curt hitch recevier frame, the ends of the round pipe that make up the horizonal width of the recevier frame are cut off flush with the ends of the metal pieces that extend vertically from the frame of the van. I think this" —Greg G from Manhattan, KS bought a CURT Receiver Hitches for a 2008 Honda Odyssey.
"Looks great! No sharp corners, clean, good looking welds. Tucks up almost out of site. Installed in 20 minutes. Literally tore open the box and laid it on my driveway to lay on it. Few basic tools, bolted right on. Great price and value." —Kent B from Lawrenceville, GA bought a CURT Receiver Hitches for a 2008 Honda Odyssey.
"Very pleased with the purchase. Fast delivery and easy installation. It took awhile to clean up the holes for bolts in the car. It would be nice to have a cleaning tool like a meta brush to remove any rust or debris in the threads of the holes. Other than that I'm pretty satisfied with the hitches." —Woohyun Y from Suwanee, GA bought a CURT Receiver Hitches for a 2008 Honda Odyssey.
"this hitch was so easy to install. We have a Honda Odyssey and all I had to do was line up the holes and screw in the bolts." —James L from Janesville, WI bought a CURT Receiver Hitches for a 2008 Honda Odyssey.
