CURT T-Connectors Reviews

A new concept

Reviewed By Brian P (BERLIN, MD) Reviewed for a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee —1/30/2013 4:53 AM

Never experienced this type of wiring harness before and was surprised to see how it worked. Haven't trailered anything yet but hopefully there won't be any issues. For people with 98 Grand Cherokee's, know that there is no "access panel" behind the spare tire as mentioned by in the instructions for this vehicle. Don't panic. Simply remove the side panel just as you would do on the passenger side.

Tow Ready T-One Connector - Install on '98 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Reviewed By David R (North Tonawanda, NY) Reviewed for a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee —10/3/2012 6:52 AM

Instruction were great - only problem is they said I had an opening behind spare tire [it did not exist on my Jeep] but did a work around. All the rest was pretty easy and straight forward.

CURT Trailer Wiring Adapters Reviews

Mostly easy install

Mounting and connecting the 4-way adapter was a piece of cake. I also really like the LED indicators on this piece of gear. I find myself wanting a little more instruction for the "remaining" wires (blue, gold, and black). I think these need to be run to a brake controller (which I do not have yet). The instructions were very vague on that detail.
