Installation review

Part was different from the what I had thought I was getting based on the picture of the part. For my 2005 Kia Sedona, there was two plug pigtails that I had to get too. Although this did create a little more work then I had hoped, it was not that difficult and worked just as the included instructions had discribed. Overall, I would give this a good+ for ease of installation. The instructions were very good at describing the process and included pictures of the install.

My truck already has a 4-way flat, so this made the installation easier and cleaner. Splicing into wires is a necessary evil at times and this avoids that unpleasantness. The bracket needed a small bend to allow the door to open all the way so the plug-in will fit. This is the one with the LED lights that indicate which pins are working, but I wish I had purchased a separate tester instead. One LED light always stays on. Battery drain isn't a concern, but unnecessarily attracting attention is.
