CURT T-Connectors Reviews

very satisfactory shopping experience

Hint to anyone with a similar vehicle: check to see if your wiring harness has the appropriate connector. It will be located up under the rear bumper, drivers side, just hanging there with a plug in it. Simply remove the plug and plug in the T-connector. I suspect the RX350 comes this way even if you do not have the optional tow prep package. (Mine does not.) No need to buy the more costly T-connector designed for vehicles without tow package.

Convenient Installation. Works Well. Recommended.

My truck already has a 4-way flat, so this made the installation easier and cleaner. Splicing into wires is a necessary evil at times and this avoids that unpleasantness. The bracket needed a small bend to allow the door to open all the way so the plug-in will fit. This is the one with the LED lights that indicate which pins are working, but I wish I had purchased a separate tester instead. One LED light always stays on. Battery drain isn't a concern, but unnecessarily attracting attention is.
