Ease of installation was excellent for the mounting part but drilling of the 2 holes was a diffent storey, a cabide bit as sugusgested would not make the hole the size needed (and it was a new bit I might add.) Had to drill a small hole 1/8th as to get a rotory tools carbide bit in the hole then it worked OK, but took about 1 hour to rotory the holes to the size an shape needed. To mount hitch itself took 20 minutes after holes were done.

great product, poor packaging.

Receiver bolted right up without any problems, everything fit just fine, the only big complaint that i have is that sharp edges of the receiver are not protected well enough and it tore through the cart board box and had paint scraped off in multiple locations around mounting edges, however, receiver end was well wrapped up and protect. I had to spend some time repainting it because I did not have time to wait for another one and I did not want to deal with rusty receiver on a brand new vehicle

Curt Q25 (Ford Puck) Additional tools needed for installation

Reviewed By Ronald M (Camas, WA) Reviewed for a 2016 Ford F-250 —11/1/2017 12:49 PM

Excellent hitch and not overly challenging to install after locating all of the required tools. One item that needs to be clarified in the listing details, is that a 100 ft/# torque wrench is required to assemble the head to the legs. Adjusting the pucks was also a little tricky as the mounting bolts are course thread instead of fine thread. Another set of cotter pins would also be nice as the ones provided were already spread out and it was frustrating to get them straightened for reuse.
