Takes a long time to bed in.

Reviewed By Fredrick Z (ELGIN, IL) Reviewed for a 1992 Mazda Miata/MX-5 —7/6/2017 10:54 AM

I love the appearance. These look like they won't show any rust for a long, long time. The only problem was that for a few days, the brakes were quite ineffective - meaning pray you don't have a panic stop situation for a while. I went through the recommended bedding in process a few times for the first 3 days, and the brakes finally started to come around. With my 5 speed Miata, it's easy to avoid full stops with hot brakes (which I did).

Check your wheel size

Reviewed By Eric R (NORWALK, CT) Reviewed for a 2009 Mazda Miata/MX-5 —6/23/2017 6:48 AM

If you have stock rims, check the size and placement of the weights used to balance the wheels BEFORE you add the caliper covers. There may not be enough clearance between the outside edge of the caliper covers and the weights. On my 2009 Miata, the stick on weights that were added to the stock 16" rims hit the caliper covers and I had to take them off until I got 17" rims.
