Have hitch will travel

Great fit, great looking, easy installation. I was even able to reinstall the splash guards, just had to trim the driver side guard for clearence. Only took about 20 minutes and a floor jack to raise the hitch on one side.

CURT Front Mount Trailer Hitch Part #: 31514

Reviewed By Brian D (Lowell, IN) Reviewed for a 2005 Nissan Xterra —8/1/2016 7:14 PM

It is well built and came with the hardware and instructions. A couple of tips 1.) Spray the bolts on the factory tow hook with penetrating oil the night before to help with removal. There are holes in the frame where you spray into. 2.) Take a M12 x 1.25 rethreading/thread chaser tap and go through all the bolt holes. Especially, the two holes on the driver's side that are open to the environment and susceptible to rust and corrosion. I substituted Hex Cap bolts for the Carriage bolts.

Easy Install

Reviewed By John B (Brick, NJ) Reviewed for a 2015 Nissan Murano —7/21/2016 5:20 PM

Hitch was really easy to install, definetly under 20 minutes. The quality is good, but I'm a little disappointed in the packaging. I wouldn't expect a 30 pound piece of steel to survive a cardboard box, and it didn't. The box was damaged and some of the powder coating was scraped off, so I'm sure if I don't touch it up I'll get some rust. It shipped direct from the manufacturer so Autoanything isn't to blame. Quality is good. Seems to hang a little low but that's the norm for aftermarket receiver
