Surprisingly pleased

Reviewed By Richard W (OCALA, FL) Reviewed for a 2009 Nissan Murano —6/20/2015 6:29 AM

I was expecting to sweat and toil over the installation of this hitch. While I did sweat in the 95 degree temperatures, there were no mashed thumbs or sliced fingers and the hitch went on without a hitch! I used a couple of jack stands to position it, didn't have to lower the exhaust and had it bolted up in no time. Perfect fit and great looks. I haven't got anything to tow with it yet, but having it on is a great excuse to get a boat!

Easiest hitch install ever

Reviewed By Robert H (Red Bluff, CA) Reviewed for a 2016 Nissan Murano —10/6/2016 8:02 AM

install took about 10 minutes or less. Box was damaged but hitch was in good shape. Wish the wireing harness plug had a bracket to bolt on the bracket that was on the hitch. Bolting up hitch was made easy with the nuts already in the car frame. Great hitch....

CURT Bumper Mount Hitch Reviews

Decent Hitch but work required to mount

Reviewed By Taad J (Fountain Hills, AZ) Reviewed for a 2006 Toyota Tacoma —6/9/2017 8:16 AM

This bolt on receiver wasn't quite bolt on;I had to enlarge the slotted bolt holes inward a bit, because my bumper holes were 8" on center. The rear small bolts don't line up with any place you could effectively drill and bolt to on the 06 Toyota Tacoma bumper. The two large grade 8 bolts do the job well though, sucking the hitch up to the bumper plate very tightly. This hitch will do its job just fine.
