Paul's Curt Receiver Hitch

Reviewed By James P J (Newnan, GA) Reviewed for a 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix —5/31/2011 8:21 AM

I shopped around the web a bit before deciding on the Curt Class II hitch for my 98 Pontiac Grand Prix. It wasn't that much more than the Class I that I was looking at and the Curt came with the ball mount and hitch pin. All you need extra is the ball. Two or three days later it was at my house and fit perfectly just like the online pictures showed. I don't know why people buy hitches that aren't hidden behind the bumper like this one--all that shows is the square hole and the tow chain loops. The ball mount that comes with it curves up to just the right height to ride my trailer level. I'm very satisfied with this hitch.

16 pounds of tough!

Reviewed By James D (CASTLE ROCK, CO) Reviewed for a 2015 GMC Canyon —3/3/2015 9:36 AM

The online description said it was solid steel and weighed 16 ounces. Should have read 16 pounds (which is the shipping weight). Fits my new GMC Canyon beautifully and looks good since the truck is black. Shows up in the rear view camera to help backing up. Anti rattle pin does not work because it is solid. Used two pieces of a bed rug sample to stop any rattles. No exchange problem with the pin. Worth the money!

The Step Hitch

Reviewed By Henry F (HITCHCOCK, TX) Reviewed for a 2014 Ford F-150 —3/2/2015 9:14 PM

It is built well and is solid. It works well. The only grip is it did not fit the hitch real good and I had to make some rubber spacers between it and the hitch to keep it tight in the hole and to keep it from rattling.
