Paul's Curt Receiver Hitch

Reviewed By James P J (Newnan, GA) Reviewed for a 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix —5/31/2011 8:21 AM

I shopped around the web a bit before deciding on the Curt Class II hitch for my 98 Pontiac Grand Prix. It wasn't that much more than the Class I that I was looking at and the Curt came with the ball mount and hitch pin. All you need extra is the ball. Two or three days later it was at my house and fit perfectly just like the online pictures showed. I don't know why people buy hitches that aren't hidden behind the bumper like this one--all that shows is the square hole and the tow chain loops. The ball mount that comes with it curves up to just the right height to ride my trailer level. I'm very satisfied with this hitch.

Great hitch

Reviewed By Genevieve P (Myrtle Beach, SC) Reviewed for a 2014 Volkswagen Beetle —11/27/2015 7:29 AM

Hitch arrived with all hardware and instructions, very easy to install, would definetly purchase from auto anything in the future, only took a couple days to get here, instructions where very easy to follow. Took me about 45 minutes to install because i didn't have a impact wrench,so a little hard to break bolts loose, once bolts loosened it was a snap to install.

Satisfied by Misinformed

Reviewed By Eric S (HILLSBOROUGH, NJ) Reviewed for a 2011 Chevy Suburban —11/24/2015 4:16 AM

Installation was easy and appearance fine but I was misinformed by the sales agent when I questioned whether or not the unit would interfere with my back up sensors. having been assured that it would not, I made the purchase. In fact, the unit does block and therefore, disable the sensors on my 2011 Suburban LTZ. I will use the unit as needed.
