CURT Receiver Hitches Reviews

Paul's Curt Receiver Hitch

Reviewed By James P J (Newnan, GA) Reviewed for a 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix —5/31/2011 8:21 AM

I shopped around the web a bit before deciding on the Curt Class II hitch for my 98 Pontiac Grand Prix. It wasn't that much more than the Class I that I was looking at and the Curt came with the ball mount and hitch pin. All you need extra is the ball. Two or three days later it was at my house and fit perfectly just like the online pictures showed. I don't know why people buy hitches that aren't hidden behind the bumper like this one--all that shows is the square hole and the tow chain loops. The ball mount that comes with it curves up to just the right height to ride my trailer level. I'm very satisfied with this hitch.

CURT Receiver Hitch Adapters Reviews

1.25" Hitch Adapter

Reviewed By Jon G (MOUNT JOY, PA) Reviewed for a 2005 Toyota RAV4 —7/27/2016 6:31 PM

I have an old stubby '2005 Toyota RAV4 for which I had just installed a minimal 1.25" hitch receiver. For the purpose of hauling bikes on a rack behind the RAV spare tire, I needed at least a 5" extension in the receiver to clear the tire cover. I ordered the Curt 1.25" to 1.25" adapter extension in the 7' size which now clears the tire cover by 2" to avoid any bolt gouging of the cover. The Curt product is strong, has smooth welds and a quality appearance.

97 s10 trailer hitch

Reviewed By Jason K (Minot, ND) Reviewed for a 1997 Chevy S10 Pickup —7/23/2016 9:58 PM

Good quality, fairly easy to install. Instructions could be a little better, but if mechanically inclined shouldn't have any problem.
