CURT Trailer Hitches Reviews

Great hitch

Reviewed By Michael S (BOULDER, CO) Reviewed for a 2011 Porsche Cayenne —1/19/2018 5:14 AM

This is a great hitch. It does not require any modification to the bumper, there is no cutting of the fascia needed. Just follow the video that Curt has on Youtube and you will be fine. It took me a relaxing 2hrs during which I took two phone call breaks. If I can do it, you can. The only somewhat negative thing is that there is no guide anywhere (or at least that I could find) for the wiring harness, and that there is no "plug and play" wiring harness Curt offers.

Great value

Reviewed By Daryl A (Saratoga, CA) Reviewed for a 2014 Porsche Cayenne —10/29/2015 7:26 AM

I just purchased a Porsche Cayenne that didn't have a hitch on it. I was quoted $1900 by the dealer to install a hitch on the car. When I saw I could buy a hitch for 1/10th the cost it was almost to good to be true. It wasn't! I purchased the hitch from Auto Anything and it arrived within 2 days. With the help of a YouTube video that had been created showing how to do the installation on my car, I was able to install the hitch in about 1 1/2 hours with a few simple tools.

works for me

Reviewed By David B (Tucson, AZ) Reviewed for a 2008 Porsche Cayman —10/3/2014 10:58 AM

Instructions a little unclear, but I called Curt and they quickly answered my question. This hitch was recommended to me by the Jeep dealer as a solution to allow me to tow 3,500lbs instead of the 2,000 lbs, that my 2012 Jeep Rubicon would normally be able to tow. I used the Curt W.D.S. to tow my race car at freeway speed and I could hardly tell I was towing anything.
