Curt hitch on a Mazda 3

Reviewed By Hillary M (TUCSON, AZ) Reviewed for a 2007 Mazda 3 —10/11/2015 4:27 PM

The hitch works great, once it is installed. I tried to do it myself, but that is near impossible. The directions say 20-60 minutes depending on skill level. Just open up 4 holes in the frame, the directions say. After working on one hole for an hour and getting no where I gave up. I took it to a professional installer and it took them an hour to get the hitch installed. The ease of installation is deceiving. But I love the hitch!

Perfect size for my new car to protect rear bumper and for access to roof rack. Also great for washing or waxing roof of car. Lights are great also since they work with brakes and turn signals.

Nice and Intimidating

Reviewed By Gary J (Pearland, TX) Reviewed for a 2009 Jeep Commander —10/5/2015 7:18 PM

This step serves a dual purpose for me. It looks and functions very well as a step, but I also bought it to help me on rear end accidents. I have come out and caught people staring at it, wanting to know where I bought it. Glad I used a lock on it. I love it.
