CURT Receiver Hitches Reviews

Easy to install with the proper tools.

Hitch is easy to install if you have the proper tools. A step bit would work well, however I opted not to get one and soon regretted it. Enlarging the hole took a bit longer using just a drill bit to tear a bigger hole.

better than curt

Reviewed By james b (BATON ROUGE, LA) Reviewed for a 2013 Subaru BRZ —8/6/2016 8:39 AM

tried curt and sent it back... bought this one and was 100% more satisfied... easier to install, has higher tow and tongue limit, and installs behind the bumper instead of hanging under the car... I did however buy the curt t connectors and euro mount but their hitch came dirty gouged scratched and well the draw tight is the better option when installing on a BRZ/FRS

gets the job done

Reviewed By james b (BATON ROUGE, LA) Reviewed for a 2013 Subaru BRZ —8/2/2016 5:13 PM

just installed it... only hard part is getting the power wire from the engine bay to the cars interior and it could use more zip ties for a cleaner install or maybe some silicone to patch the hole in the rubber grommet or better instructions... overall it was pretty easy and I had everything in my garage(zip ties and silicone)
