Installation Suggestions - 2015 Subaru Forester

Reviewed By Kurt Z (Farmington, CT) Reviewed for a 2015 Subaru Forester —7/2/2015 8:43 AM

If you don't have a die grinder, you can use a hacksaw blade and metal file. You'll notice there's a 4th covered hole forward of the other 3. This hole is bigger so you do not need to remove as much metal if you use this hole to insert the brackets and bolts. Make sure to snake the rearmost bolt first, then work forward. Also, I removed the muffler entirely. The car was new so this was really easy and made access more comfortable. I was able to do the job easily without raising the car.

Draw-Tite on a Subaru Outback

Reviewed By Andrew K (Port Washington, WI) Reviewed for a 2014 Subaru Outback —5/8/2015 3:58 AM

I put a 2" Draw-Tite on my Subaru Outback. It looks better that I thought it would. It is closer to the bumper that I expected (good). It is about 3-1/2" inside the edge of the bumper with out a ball hitch on (also good). Installation went pretty well. The bumper and subsequently ordered accessories arrived within a few days using standard shipping.
