well built, super easy to install!

Reviewed By robert S (LAS VEGAS, NV) Reviewed for a 2004 Subaru Baja —9/5/2016 10:30 AM

I'm very handy with cars, and I have a well-stocked toolbox, but I think a kid would be able to install this thing with some basic hand tools. With my air ratchet and some box wrenches, i was done in minutes. The fact that my Subaru Baja comes from the factory with a trailer harness connector behind EACH rear wheel, meant the whole install took less than 15 minutes. (wiring harness purchased separately)

Easy Install!

Reviewed By Nelson C (SOMERVILLE, MA) Reviewed for a 2007 BMW X5 —9/29/2016 5:43 AM

If you can change a tire then you can install the hitch! I have a BMW X5 2007 that involves a little more work but the instructions are so easy to follow that I was able to install on my driveway! (no jacks, ramps or nothing!)....total time 1 hour 30 minutes - taking my time reading the instructions and my coffee mug! :-)

Looking foward to to towing somthing! Anything!

Reviewed By Henry V (KISSIMMEE, FL) Reviewed for a 2016 Chevy Colorado —9/23/2016 7:04 AM

The installation was fairly simple, but you'll need an impact driver. On the 2016 Chevy Colorado, there is a brace between the spare tire that connect to the factory installed hitch and the frame it requires 4 bolts. You'll have to make a choice because this hitch does not have the two holes for the bolts that connect to the brace. No biggie though.
