Trimax Keyed-Alike Trailer Hitch & Coupler Lock Set Reviews

Great lock set

Reviewed By James M (Allen, TX) Reviewed for a 2011 Subaru Legacy —6/26/2014 5:52 AM

Lock set works like it should, holds everything in place and seems like great quality. They also provide you with spare keys which is always a plus. Actual locking mechanism is extremely smooth. Trimax always has great products, and this is definitely one I'd recommend.

CURT Anti Rattle Kit Reviews

One thing to keep in mind...

Reviewed By Franklyn M S (La Grange, TX) Reviewed for a 2011 Subaru Outback —6/16/2012 5:35 AM

This antirattle kit addresses the rattle that occurs between the hitch receiver and the hitch, but it does nothing for the rattle that occurs between the hitch ball and the trailer connector. FYI, keep that in mind.

Trimax Receiver Lock Reviews

Strong and Secure

Reviewed By Paul R (ASHLAND, OR) Reviewed for a 2010 Toyota 4Runner —8/4/2015 9:56 PM

Yes, my boat trailer is padlocked to the ball, but anyone could remove the hitch pin and take the ball and trailer as a 2" receiver is pretty standard on most rigs. I definitely did not want another key for locking the hitch pin to my rig. Who needs another key to keep up with? I was glad to find this hitch pin with a combination lock. The pin, which mates the receiver to the rig, seems as strong as a standard unlocked clip pin and the combination was easy to set and open.
