"Quality & apparence are excellent. I'm very glad I paid a pro to put it in." —Joseph S from Green Bay, WI bought a CURT Receiver Hitches for a 2011 Subaru Outback.
"great product at a very good price, if you shop around you'll be hard pressed to find a better deal." —Elizabeth F from Trumbull, CT bought a CURT Receiver Hitches for a 2011 Subaru Outback.
"The hitch came with all parts for the job. The videos on the net were helpful. If you have the 3.6 the installation is more difficult. If you can put it on a lift do so. You will need someone to help you lift up the hitch. The profile will take away from ground clearence" —Charles C from Keesler Afb, MS bought a CURT Receiver Hitches for a 2011 Subaru Outback.
"Would have rated it excellent for installation except for difficulty cutting access hole in frame to insert bolt flange and bolt into frame. A hole saw capable of cutting a 1 1/4" hole in the frame is really needed otherwise you end up screwing around for a half hour drilling holes and cutting out pieces of the frame. This leaves a jagged, uncovered hole in the frame. Other than this it fits perfect. I installed mine on a lift with the help of two other guys. Took about 40 minutes. It would be very difficult to install otherwise." —Rick O from Bridgeport, WV bought a CURT Receiver Hitches for a 2011 Subaru Outback.
"Hitch was stronger than anticipated.Arrived in 2 days after order...Pleased with design of hitch. One part was missing.....the extension for the hitch ball did not arrive with the main hitch.Called auto anything they corrected the problem by sending me the missing part within days. First class service....good product....great price." —Robert K from Southbury, CT bought a Draw-Tite Receiver Hitches for a 2011 Subaru Outback, Wagon.
"The hitch arrived within 2 days of my order and the quality is excellent. Installation was about what I expected: it took around an hour with no surprises, just a litle messing around with the muffler and heat shield. Otherwise, it went on easily, works great and looks like a factory installation. Nice hitch, great price." —Gary F from Luxemburg, WI bought a CURT Receiver Hitches for a 2011 Subaru Outback.
"When I first ordered the hitch, it arrived without the ball mount & installation hardware. Customer Service was great. The replacement hitch arrived within 2 days of mailing back the other hitch. The most difficult part was lowering the muffler and removing the heat shield. I don't see how one person can install this on his own. We needed a person on either side to hold it up while screwing in the bolts, which were surprisingly easy to fish through the access holes." —Nadia S from Ellicott City, MD bought a Draw-Tite Receiver Hitches for a 2011 Subaru Outback.
