hitch installation

Just a note to add to the install if done by an individual. 1. wash under the car first 2. the little tabs over the bolt holes are hard to see and don't come off completely. Check before starting install

CURT T-Connectors Reviews

You should install this instead of just a tap the wires.

Reviewed By Dan B (Norfolk, VA) Reviewed for a 2011 Toyota Avalon —3/26/2016 4:24 AM

Thinking about all the electronics in today's vehicles I did some checking. The electronic box (CURT T-Connector) controls the trailer lights separate from the vehicle's electronic electrical system. It only gets a signal to control the box that controls the trailer lights. What this means, something goes wrong with the trailer lights it does not effect the vehicle lights or electrical system. The install was plug and play, except for hot wire routing. Worth the cost & time!
