Well made hitch

Reviewed By Nicholas F (DUBLIN, OH) Reviewed for a 2009 Toyota Corolla —7/25/2015 8:39 AM

I haven't used this hitch yet but it looks like it's going to hold a lot of weight. Unfortunately the install was harder than expected. I had a 09 corolla (installing 2015 the hitch). There was a lot of rust in the threads I was attaching to. I'm a novice and I tried to clean the threads but it wasn't enough. I then called a weld shop who used two of the bolts and welded on the hitch to the frame. Not everyone is willing to weld these so I was really happy/lucky to find someone to do so.

Great hitch

Reviewed By Joseph B (Goodlettsville, TN) Reviewed for a 2010 Toyota Corolla —2/8/2013 6:42 AM

I doesn't get much better. I got a quote from a local company to install a hitch and wiring for around $360. I saved about $140 by doing it myself and it was so easy. The hardest thing was cleaning the undercoating out of the existing bolt holes on my corolla. Once I got the bolts started, it was a cinch. Total time was around an hour.

Easy installation.

The hitch took about 10min to install. If you want to put a class 2 cargo carrier on the hitch you can just get a drill bit and drill out the tab on the hitch.
