"The first hitch I received was hanging out of the box and all scrapped up. I contacted AutoAnything via email regarding the damage and they eventually sent a replacement. I would have been nice if they acted a bit more expedicously (it took 4 weeks for the replacement to show up). The packing for the hitch is poor and it is almost guaranteed to show up all scrapped up. I just installed the hitch this and the instructions from Curt were excellent. They even show how to cut the existing plastic covers to fit with the hitch. I had a helper to hand me tools and from start to finish it was about 45 mins. This was done on the ground just using a creeper. A couple of jack stands and a jack make it much easier to move the hitch up to it location." —Joe U from Clifton Park, NY bought a CURT Receiver Hitches for a 2011 Toyota Highlander.
"The instructions included do not remotely prepare you for this installation. Make sure you find a video that shows how you have to wedge, bang and do whatever you need to align all of the holes. Don't even think about doing this without help and if you have a lift or ramps at your disposal all the better." —Eric P from Lexington, MA bought a CURT Receiver Hitches for a 2011 Toyota Highlander.
"Looks good, went on fast." —Harry M from Lakewood, WA bought a CURT Receiver Hitches for a 2011 Toyota Highlander.
"The hitch is fine and does what a hitch is supposed to do. Easy to install with 7 bolts that match pre-drilled holes in the Highlander frame. For reasons no one can adequately explain, when you order the tow package from Toyota you get heavy duty radiator, alternator, transmission and oil coolers BUT NOT THE HITCH! Its not like there are a lot of custom hitches that the consumer could choose from. Also, the wiring plug is a pain in the @## to access. None of this is the fault of Curt or Autoanything---just thought Highlander owners should be aware." —Lee C from Key West, FL bought a CURT Receiver Hitches for a 2011 Toyota Highlander.
"Very nice product for the price. Installation was very easy. Quality welds on the product. Extremely satisfied." —Leonard N from Watsontown, PA bought a CURT Receiver Hitches for a 2011 Toyota Highlander.
