2005 Toyota Prius

This took 45 minutes to connect. Took 15 minutes longer as dropped battery nut behind battery and had to fish it out. No splicing or cutting wires as advertised, just plug in and plug only goes in 1 way. Works great. I pulled a 4x8 trailer with a canoe and 300 pounds of stuff with no problem, even up steep boat ramp. Got 45 mpg, did not go on highway....

My truck already has a 4-way flat, so this made the installation easier and cleaner. Splicing into wires is a necessary evil at times and this avoids that unpleasantness. The bracket needed a small bend to allow the door to open all the way so the plug-in will fit. This is the one with the LED lights that indicate which pins are working, but I wish I had purchased a separate tester instead. One LED light always stays on. Battery drain isn't a concern, but unnecessarily attracting attention is.
