Very solid hitch, but bring a crowbar to install...

Reviewed By Stephen W (Galveston, TX) Reviewed for a 2013 Toyota RAV4 —7/30/2016 3:45 PM

This hitch is solid as a rock, but since metal expands/contracts with temperature--not only on your hitch but your car frame as well--the bolt pattern was off by about 3/16". I put in the first bolt on one side then used a crowbar to gently expand the hitch's frame to line-up the bolt on the other side. Once the two starter bolts were in, the other two bolts lined-up perfectly. Torqued the bolts to 86 lbs/ft and it was ready to go! Also, the AutoAnything shipping dept is VERY FAST!!!

Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Reviews

affordable hitch, easy to install

Reviewed By Hans V (Colorado Springs, CO) Reviewed for a 2013 Toyota RAV4 —5/23/2013 3:34 PM

I ordered a Draw-Tite receiver hitch for my 2013 Toyota RAV4 LE. I called a autoanything salesman to confirm that the 2012 hitch also fits the 2013 RAV4. It arrived in time and in good shape. I installed the thing in less than 1 hour and it fits perfectly. Can't complain.

Reese Trailer Hitch Reviews

First time hitch user

Reviewed By Jon J (SAN DIEGO, CA) Reviewed for a 2008 Toyota RAV4 —3/13/2013 7:28 AM

I purchased this hitch for my Rav4 mainly for a bike rack. I also purchased an electrical kit in case I wanted to pull a trailer in the future. This is a first class piece of equipment. Make no mistake, it is very well made and quite substantial. It fits perfectly with no problems, however, unless you're in good shape physically, you're in for a shock if you think you're going to pull it out of the box and slap it on in a few minutes. It is, as I said, substantial! Get help.
