CURT Receiver Hitches Reviews

Curt hitch

Reviewed By neuman b (BLOOMINGTON, MN) Reviewed for a 2014 Toyota Tundra —1/21/2014 3:29 PM

Arrived fairly quickly and I was very happy with the look and condition. Install was very easy and straight forward. Helps to view the install demo on you tube. Only hard part was having to lower the spare in order fit my torque wrench to be able to get a few turns on the top bolts. The hitch fit as advertised and I am happy with the results. It does stick out further then the factory hitch but for a tenth of the price I can live with that.. Nice finish and fit.

CURT Front Mount Receiver Hitch for 2006 Toyota Tacoma 4X4

Reviewed By Gregory M (Ventura, CA) Reviewed for a 2014 Toyota Tundra —4/12/2011 8:44 AM

I was looking for a front hitch for my 2006 Toyota Tacoma in order to push my bass boat into a relatively tight location and this product was a perfect solution. Installation instructions were accurate and it only took the ~ 35 minutes to install as prescribed. I did have to remove my aftermarket front skid plate to accommodate the hitch. I can now also use this front hitch for a winch, bike rack or a cargo carrier. The quality of this product appears very well made and looks great. Definitely compliments this 4X4 truck. Lastly, your price beat your competition as well. Thanks AutoAnything!

Not quite perfect

Reviewed By ERNEST S (LAYTON, UT) Reviewed for a 2001 Toyota Tundra —9/28/2015 10:35 AM

Hitch did NOT replicate the factory unit. It was missing the bracket to accept the screws that come down thru the bumper. The factory bracket sits on top of the receiver channel but this unit was missing it & was too short to have the factory one removed & welded to this unit. Frame attachment was fine. Also, in a years time the price went from $130 to $180. Should have bought it last year.
