CURT Hitch

Reviewed By Raymond D (Newport, RI) Reviewed for a 2005 Volkswagen Beetle —7/1/2012 7:58 AM

Arrived quickly, ready to go for installation. Directions were clear and straight forward. Installation was not difficult. Biggest problem was drilling the holes in the bumper beam. Have a heavy duty drill and bits, the steel is tough!! Hitch works well, installation was easy and quick EXCEPT for the drilling.

Great hitch

Reviewed By Genevieve P (Myrtle Beach, SC) Reviewed for a 2014 Volkswagen Beetle —11/27/2015 7:29 AM

Hitch arrived with all hardware and instructions, very easy to install, would definetly purchase from auto anything in the future, only took a couple days to get here, instructions where very easy to follow. Took me about 45 minutes to install because i didn't have a impact wrench,so a little hard to break bolts loose, once bolts loosened it was a snap to install.

Looking foward to to towing somthing! Anything!

Reviewed By Henry V (KISSIMMEE, FL) Reviewed for a 2016 Chevy Colorado —9/23/2016 7:04 AM

The installation was fairly simple, but you'll need an impact driver. On the 2016 Chevy Colorado, there is a brace between the spare tire that connect to the factory installed hitch and the frame it requires 4 bolts. You'll have to make a choice because this hitch does not have the two holes for the bolts that connect to the brace. No biggie though.
