CURT Receiver Hitches Reviews

Cannot believe it works so well.

The VW Cabrio manual does not advise towing (I don't think any convertible does) but sometimes you need to anyway. Once the bumper was removed, this tow hitch went right on. I used a cordless drill to get through the metal but a corded version would be faster. The instructions are very clear and the install took about 2 hours. So far I have towed a small 8 foot trailer with all kinds of items on it, with no problems at all. These are great hitches.

Saved my car

Reviewed By Rodney M (MIDVALE, UT) Reviewed for a 2015 Subaru Outback —5/21/2015 1:23 PM

The bully hitch was installed for the sole purpose of protecting our brand new vehicle from a rear-end impact. Sure enough, four weeks later, someone rear-ended the car. The hitch was crushed and inflicted extreme damage to the bmw responsible for the accident to include a dual airbag deployment in the bmw. The bmw then made contact with our bumper only after a majority of the energy was dissipated. Without this extra line of defense I fear that my family would have sustained serious injury.
