Built solid!

This hitch is nice and heavy duty, I installed it on my 2015 VW Passat in about an hours time. I originally wanted to install it on my 2016 VW Passat but there are sensors for automatic braking and backup vehicle detection inside my rear bumper so I could not. There was a wiring harness in the way. But it all worked fine on the 2015!

Draw-Tite install

I love the trailer hitch, it looks great on the car. The installation was a litt bit tricky tho with just myself holding it up in place. The holes under the muffler mount were the toughest to thread into place. All in all it went smooth and I love it.

Looking foward to to towing somthing! Anything!

The installation was fairly simple, but you'll need an impact driver. On the 2016 Chevy Colorado, there is a brace between the spare tire that connect to the factory installed hitch and the frame it requires 4 bolts. You'll have to make a choice because this hitch does not have the two holes for the bolts that connect to the brace. No biggie though.
