2008 VW Rabbit hitch

Reviewed By Mike H (Brownsburg, IN) Reviewed for a 2008 Volkswagen Rabbit —4/20/2014 5:33 PM

Install took about an hour. Was very easy. Needed to use several washers to avoid exhaust from rattling on hitch.

Super Mirror

Reviewed By George T (LA MESA, CA) Reviewed for a 2008 Volkswagen Rabbit —7/22/2008 10:16 PM

This is the best looking towing mirror that I have seen. I have used the ones that hang out from the base of the windows and have a leg that braces on the center of the door. I am planning to tow a Scamp trailer with my new VW Rabbir S. I wasn't sure I could get it to attach but it did. It is a very clever design. I haven't towed with them. I have just ordered the second one.

CURT Receiver Hitches Reviews

Not bad, could be improved?

Reviewed By Christopher Z (WICHITA, KS) Reviewed for a 2015 Volvo XC60 —2/25/2015 8:43 PM

I purchased the Curt hitch instead of the factory Volvo hitch because it doesn't require the removal or trimming of the bumper cover. It satisfies those purposes. However, it's a bit of a pain fishing the bolts through the frame and access to tightening them is limited. I've also noticed that occasionally the muffler is rubbing against the hitch causing a little noise in the cabin. For the price, I guess it's okay.
