First it took me a while to locate a Front hitch and Thanks to Auto Anything they were able to Support my needs for my Chevy 1 Ton 4X4.If there is a way to attach a picture I would love to do so. It was very easy to install and a few co-workers has inquired as to where I got the hitch. I was defiantly glad to give them Auto Anything contact information. I am one happy camper.

mounting of curt front mount trailer hitch on 2003 ford f250

my 1/2 in impact would not remove the nut on shackle bolts. this was required to install 1/4 in angle plates both sides. the reason for buying front hitch was for mounting 2 in bicycle rack. I will never need the 500/5000 capacity

Tough job!!

Reviewed by Theodore A. R (NEWTON, NJ) Reviewed for a 2013 Honda Ridgeline — Saturday at 11:36 AM

The front hitch for a Honda Ridgeline doesn't fit that well. I'm about 4 hours into it and found the the holes for mounting are a little off and I'm not sure how I am going to resolve it. If you buy one I would recommend that you have a trailer please install it!! Good Luck

For Home Plow Hookup

Reviewed by Michael H (Poughkeepsie, NY) Reviewed for a 2014 Dodge Ram — Friday at 5:05 AM

Packaged well. Quality not great - came with gouges in metal, had to paint to protect metal from rusting. Easy install but had to special order 17/32 drill bit and you have to cut fascia. If you are using on 2014 Dodge Ram 1500 4WD with 20in wheels you will not meet the 10-13 inch height requirement of plow. You will have 9.5 inch height and fascia will not allow you to use 2 in. Receiver Hitch Extension.

A little harder to install than advertized

I'm not a pro and not a novice but this hitch took about 3 1/2 hours to install. The metal bracket and bolt did't fit into the cross member as shown. Had to use the bolt only. Also I tied string onto the bolt so I could pull it back out once it was pushed in with fish wire. Glad I did only way to get the metal bracket back off. Otherwise is bolted up tight. I removed the lower front rubber air foil to install hitch, made the cut after hitch installed otherwise if would have been in the way.

1999 Dakota 2WD not quite

Reviewed by Dan O (Mendota, IL) Reviewed for a 1999 Dodge Dakota — Jul 02, 2014 3:33 PM

AutoAnything was great good price and fast. This hitch when used on a two wheel drive has two brackets that can't be used. Curt should show installation on two wheel drive. Also on Curt rear mount 1 1/4 receiver hitches I think they use standard tubing for receiver and standard bar stock for ball mount. Making the ball mount very loose in the receiver. This causes the connection to buck and is very noisy. I had to shim the ball mount top and side, and drill another pin hole closer to the ball.

After getting a price of $300.00 to get this hitch installed, my girlfriend and I decided we could install it ourselves. Hitch was well built and lined up perfectly with truck frame. We used small jack stands to hold frame in place while we drilled pilot holes in frame. We then removed hitch and drilled 1/4" holes and then 1/2 " holes in frame, then put hitch under truck holding it in place with Jack stands. Install would have been impossible without the "fishing" tool, a wire with a coiled en

Installation was a breeze except for the third bolt. If installing this by yourself I highly recommend a floor jack to hold it in place. I had to cut a little bit of plastic from the shield under the bumper but other than that everything fit right into place on my 2008 Ford F150. It is pratically invisible. Just the little 2/2 box shows
