Because I and my wife are in our Golden Years (SUCKS). I purchased the Go Rhino Hitch Step for our 2004 Ford F-150 more to improve the looks of the pickups trailor hitch system then utilization. The F-150 is a crew cab, FWD, with 18in. wheels and the rear of the truck is quite high. I am sure that I will use the Step from time to time but to be honest, it improves the appearance of the pickup so much that even if I don't use it I am happy that I purchased it and installed the Rhino Hitch Step.Though I am older, retired, and sometimes cranky, I still enjoy a good looking pickup and a nice looking lady!

The hitch step is all what I expected of it. It was a great idea to include the vibrater kit. The two things that could make the stabillazation better is to add something to the kit to keep it from moving left and right so much and small adaptor lowerthe Rhino step so it don't block the back-up sensors in the rear bumper. I have an idea if your company wants to us it. It will be very usefull for newer model trucks and still have its' good looks. This adaptor should increase your sale of this product.Thank You,Derrick

First off the instructions were very good as these things go. It was easy to install. I also installed the nerf bars and the towing hitch the same day. The step works great. The ONLY issue is the two plastic end caps. The outboard end piece broke and fell off on the very first test use, in front of my wife, which did not make a very good impression. The plastic broke where the screw goes through it. I made a repair using goop on BOTH of the end pieces to fix the problem. I decided on goop because if I ever want to take the ends off I will be able to take them off again. Other than that one issue the step is great!

I purchased the EchoMaster Dolphin SonarStep a few weeks ago and am amazed at how accurate it is at sensing objects behind my truck. It was a snap to install, literally took less than five minutes and I was done. This product in my opinion is worth its weight in gold. for a little over $200 you have peace of mind and an extra set of eyes. If the SonarStep prevents just one accident it has paid for itself. I can't imagine being in a parking lot and not seeing someone's child behind my car, with the EchoMaster I have more peace of mind knowing that when I back up, it is safer for everyone. I highly recommend this product.

As usual, AutoAnything was super efficient resulting in a fast delivery. Step required some filing of the holes to facilitate the pin to align properly. Step came with a new metal step plate, which fixes the rubber one that apparently comes loose. Pleased with appearance and function. It is made of tubular stainless steel and not heavy duty pipe but does the job intended.
