This will do the job intended - carry a bike rack.

Reviewed By Dwayne D (Eastland, TX) Reviewed for a 2016 Kia Rio —5/14/2016 7:38 PM

I ordered this Curt Receiver hitch so I could carry a couple of bicycles with my 2016 Kia Rio LX. It will do the job and I feel the price/value was OK. I ended up having to buy a $40.00 sheet metal bit to enlarge the holes on the Kia frame, and the instructions weren't updated for the 2016 Kia - it has a plastic cover now on the driver side - probably to improve gas mileage - that I had to cut to allow the hitch to be mounted to the frame. You can remove it, but I made it work.

Just What I Needed

Reviewed By Greg H (Puyallup, WA) Reviewed for a 2012 Kia Rio —9/3/2013 6:13 PM

Needed a light duty hitch for my bike rack and this hitch is the perfect fit. Installation took less the 10 minutes. Using a friend's lift at his shop, installation was a cinch. This hitch is perfect for light duty towing or for mounting a bike rack.

Easy to install and works perfect.

Reviewed By Marc B (Tucson, AZ) Reviewed for a 2001 Kia Rio —5/15/2012 7:15 AM

This is perfect addition to my car to carry my bicycles. After our roof rack was stolen, I started looking into trailer hitch mounted units. This hitch installed easy and works perfect with my Saris bicycle carrier. Total installation time including getting out and putting away tools, jack and jack stands was 35 minutes. I did need assistance to tighten the bolts since I can't be under the car and in the truck at the same time. My wife held the wrench on the bolt while I hit the nuts with an impact wrench, then checked with a torque wrench. Glad I found a Made in America hitch that delivered function and a low profile look.
