I ordered the Curt 10" drop mount along with a Curt 2" ball and Curt Anti Rattle kit. The drop mount and ball work together beautifully. I was impressed with the weight limit (5,000lbs) given the rather large 10" drop. However, I returned the anti-rattle kit. The bolt in the kit was only about 3/8" or 7/16" in diameter and did not adequately fill up the 5/8" pin hole in the hitch and ball mount. I will be using the ball mount to tow my Jeep behind my pickup and did not feel that the anti-rattle kit components would hold up to the forces generated by that type of towing. Such kit would be better suited for hitch mounted bike racks or light duty connections.

Had to "hire" my son, who is a very experienced at at assembling automobile/emergency vehicles. The power wire from the battery (engine compartment) to connector at left rear of vehicle was the worst-he did it from the INSIDE versus OUTSIDE as per directions. Added more time but a neater job. Otherwise, not intuitively obvious to a novice but an experienced autofile should not have any problems installing Curt Connectors, vehicle specific.

I ordered the shortest adapter for use with a new Curt receiver hitch that I installed by myself on my 2005 Honda CR-V. The receiver hitch installation took around 30 minutes and was very easy since I had a pair of jack stands to support the hitch during mounting. The adapter was needed for my bike rack. I used the Curt anti-rattle kit with the adapter and I now have a solid mount that projects far enough to clear the spare tire that is mounted on the rear door. I recently drove 6 hours with 2 bikes on the rack. Speed bumps required some slow careful driving, but the hitch and adapter held up fine even when the there was quite a bit of up and down movement of the entire bike rack.

Ordered day 1 got UPS day 2 Receivde went on in 30 minutes. Ease. Need a buddy to hold muffler in place when bolting up parts. Recomment

Installing the hitch took about 10 min on a bad day. Very easy and the price was great.
