not that easy
The easy part is connecting the wires to the lights in the back of the car. The hard part is running the wire from the battery to the box. You need a jack and jack stands to do this. Not hard but you have to be able to do this.Everything went well it took about a half hour. I don't see why this has to be a powered box,but then again I'm not an electrical engineer.
The CURT Class II hitch for the 2004 Camry fits well and appears solidly built. I installed it by myself using instructions found on YouTube. The install was straightforward but took a few hours. One bolt hole took a while to clean out, and it was very difficult to start a bolt above the muffler. The solution was to place the muffler bracket under the hitch rather than over the hitch. Then I was able to start the bolt easily.
